Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing incoming and outgoing shipments.

Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy of contents against shipping documents
- Unload and load trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment as needed
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items according to customer requirements
- Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) or other software to track inventory and update records
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues with shipments
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage of stock
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliations as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or related field preferred
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently or willingness to be certified within 30 days
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping purposes
